A Short History of St. Michael's Church
Camden Town.

St. Michael's, Camden Town was consecrated in 1881. A Parish Church had been meeting for several years in temporary buildings, having been established by the vision of Fr. Edward Penfold.

The Church was built by Bodley & Garner, widely acknowledged as leaders in the field of ecclesiastical Victorian architecture, the building is now Grade Two listed, with the interior being of particular architectural significance. The Church has been serving God in Camden Town for the last 120 years. The new vision includes an established church school, a growing active congregation and plans for a new Parish and Community Centre.
